The screw to mount to the roof of van should go all the way through the dvd player.Chances are, you have a delphi or matsuhita dvd player. Most auto factory dvd players are from either of those 2 manufacturers and are made the same way.Fordman. @ cotmm68030Thanks I'm downloading it right now and I'll take a look at it.I did discover one method involving a pair of long nose tweezers and almost guaranted damage to the DVD (dont care about the disk) and a possibility of damaging the laser assembly (I would like to avoid this). I'll see what it takes to remove thwe drive vs the tweezer method.@foremanOh ha ha, same could be said for Ford. Actually I heard Honda entertainment systems are the balls to fix. If you kill power to the system, you need a passkey to re-enable it.
