Acpi Cpl0002 Windows 7 Driver Download
I also had this problem with an Asus EEE 1001px. It also would not wake from sleep mode, having to do a hard reset to restart it.I solved the problem:Search for RecoverySelect- Go back to windows 7Got through the menus and wait while windows 7 reinstallsNow it runs fine again.I didnt think it was worth upgrading to Windows 10 for the asus eee running on windows 7. In addition to the issues above, it also ran slower in general, there were compatibility issues with old software, and startup took a long time, compared to my windows8.1 toshiba which was upgraded to windows 10 and compared to win7 on this computer.Theres also no support or drivers for win 10 for these computers although I might add that I kept all of the drivers and so I reinstalled the suggested chipset driver (intel install) which installed ok but didnt solve any problems.
I tried installing allthe other drivers I had and they either didnt work even in compatibility mode or reported that a newer driver was already installed. Therefore, I think the best solution here is to go back to Windows 7 unless you wish to forever be trying to solve problems like this. Uninstalling ASUS HOTKEYS will prevent the problem. There are no compatible ATK packages for 10.You have to decide to just live without the Fn hotkeys and use the Windows shortcuts.1.

Change the value in HEX(1) Windows 8 and above will automatically change all values. Windows 7 has about 2 values that need to be changed manually. You can see that the resolution of 1024 x 768 is now possible on this screen, but I have seen 1152 x 864. At 1024 x 768 the screen is compressed, but you don't have the problem not being able to click OK or CANCEL in some windows. If you want you could go further and check if it's only the registry key that is needed, but since it's not even my system and cleanup programs could delete it I'm ok with this sollution. If you don't have the right hardware for the mousepad as in my case it will just show ON even if you press the hotkey. After a Windows 10 upgrade you will again have to edit the registry as I showed to increase the resolutions possible.Unfortunately the not all resolutions are detected by the hotkey tool, so the maximum is 1024 x 768:-/(follow for an update on that)Kind Regards. Had heard about MS offering free upgrade to Windows 7 users but immediately thought 'beware of strangers bearing gifts'. Should have taken more notice of this when I received an Asus/Microsoft offer to provide a free compatibility check and upgrade.I really wish I hadn't.
After running for an hour or more my Asus 1018p came up with an error message and asked if I'd like to try again. (Really should have stopped there). Anyhow, gave it another try and it seemed to work until I got stuck with thereally annoying 'Missing Asus ACPI' pop-up.
Then, on top of all that, there was no Bluetooth, no switching for WiFi etc and most of the hot-keys wouldn't work.Excellent stuff on the forum but far too complicated and time consuming for me. Also, comments from ASUS really disappointing; they should have been well aware of what was going on and had the relevant hotkey service as a download - from what I gather thewindows 8.1 app would have worked perfectly (just too chicken to take a chance on it especially as the existing HK service had to be uninstalled first). After two hours - in the evening - no further forward. Next day followed one excellent piece of adviceand returned to Windows 7. Absolute bliss; why on earth did I bother????

Later the next day, email from BT telling me that I was getting close to my 10Gb download limit; I wonder why? Could it have been 2xMS Windows 10 downloads I wonder?Anyhow, certainly not for the fainthearted but what a terrible shame, not being able to take advantage of what appeared to be MS's first very generous offer?
